Frequently Asked Questions.
Traditional consulting often focuses on assessing a situation, developing a strategy, and recommending what should happen next. Implementation support focuses on putting those recommendations into practice.
At Veronica Ford Consulting (VFC), we bridge strategy and implementation. We work alongside clients to clarify priorities, develop practical approaches, coordinate people and resources, and carry work forward. This can mean designing a process, introducing a system, coordinating a project, or helping turn a new initiative into operational reality.
We work with entrepreneurs, small businesses, nonprofits, social enterprises, and arts and culture organizations across Canada.
Some clients are preparing to launch something new. Others are navigating growth, change, or competing operational priorities. Our work is shaped around your goals, existing resources, and the level of support that would be most useful. A consultation helps us explore whether there is a good fit.
Support does not have to be ongoing. We offer several ways to work together, depending on what you are trying to accomplish.
Project Implementation Support provides hands-on help with defined projects, operational activities, processes, systems, or initiatives. Strategic Advisory Services provides guidance, planning, and collaborative working sessions. Ongoing Operations Management offers fractional or interim capacity to coordinate priorities, workflows, teams, and implementation.
Examples include operational planning, process and SOP development, project coordination, business planning, research, reporting, and systems setup. You can engage us for a focused working session, a scoped project, or a longer-term partnership.
A virtual assistant generally supports assigned administrative tasks, while a full-time operations manager takes on a permanent internal role.
VFC offers flexible operational expertise across planning, coordination, systems, and implementation. Depending on the engagement, we can develop workflows, coordinate stakeholders, manage defined projects, or provide interim operational leadership. The responsibilities, decision-making authority, and expected outcomes are agreed together at the outset.
We offer flexible service options based on the scope of work, complexity, and level of coordination required. Whether you need focused guidance, support with a specific project, or an ongoing operations partner, there is an option to fit your needs.
Advisory & Strategic Working Sessions
For those seeking expert guidance on a specific question, decision, or operational priority, we offer one-time advisory calls and collaborative working sessions to help you explore options, develop strategies, and identify practical next steps together.

We establish clear responsibilities, deliverables, communication channels, and check-ins. Much of our work can be delivered virtually across Canada, allowing us to collaborate with your team wherever you are.
We begin by confirming the priorities, agreed activities, deliverables, timelines, responsibilities, and investment in a written proposal or service agreement. We then establish a practical working rhythm, review the information and resources needed, and begin the agreed activities.
The starting process varies with the engagement. A defined project may begin with a focused planning discussion, while ongoing support may include reviewing workflows and meeting key team members. Engagements can often begin within one to two weeks, depending on availability.
The free 30-minute consultation is an opportunity to tell us about your organization, what you are working toward, and where additional operational support could be useful. We will discuss your priorities, answer questions about how we work, and explore possible next steps.
There is no obligation to proceed. You can schedule a consultation at meetings.aspireinc.ca or email info@aspireinc.ca.
Our services are primarily delivered virtually, allowing us to work with entrepreneurs and organizations across Canada through online meetings and collaborative tools.
